KING STREET REOPENS

Starting Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 3 p.m., King Street from, Gaukel Street to Frederick/Benton streets will officially reopen to traffic.

Sections of King Street have been closed since the start of the reconstruction work that began last April.  Crews will still be on site installing plantings and bollards, but there will be no disruption to traffic flow.

When the reconstruction project is complete, King Street will feature wider sidewalks, flexible parking, improved lighting, added street trees and sustainable planters that collect and filter storm water.
