
The final leg of the Memorial Cup's Journey from Vancouver, B.C. where the host team Vancouver Giants tasted victory in emerging as 2007 MasterCard Memorial Cup Champions, will end on May 15th.
The Memorial Cup has travelled across Canada covering over 3300 km to arrive in Kitchener for the start of the 90th MasterCard Memorial Cup Championship.
Mayor Carl Zehr welcomes the Memorial Cup to City Hall and will greet the Kitchener Rangers, whose players will unvail a special commemorative jersey, in recogintion of the Canadian Forces and veterans. Enthused fans will help launch the event and ten days of hockey competition and festivities.
